Wire Rope Slings
Another type of sling is the wire rope sling, which manufacturers make with galvanized wire rope. Construction teams often use them to lift heavy loads and operate in rugged environments.
Some advantages of this product include its ability to resist abrasion, fatigue, and high temperatures. In addition, wire rope slings give you cost advantages by having the lowest price per ton.
Round Slings
Manufacturers also use polyester to make round slings. These products consist of a polyester loop within a protective jacket that keeps the loop safe as it lifts loads. The round slings offer the benefits of flexibility and are especially effective when users need to lift round loads of piping.
Chain Slings
Adjustable chain lifting slings are another option, which manufacturers make from various alloy steel grades. Steel gives the slings strength and durability and makes them ideal for use in heavy machine shops, steel mills, and foundries where they encounter high temperatures and harsh conditions.
The slings are available in single, two, three, and four-leg configurations. They allow users to carry loads between 50,000 and 180,000 pounds and use them for lifting continuously.
